Lab Analyst Intern
POSITION SUMMARY
U.S. Lubricants, a division of U.S. Venture, is looking for an intern to work in the Kimberly, WI facility. This intern role will interface with multiple cross-functional departments, primarily with the Laboratory and Technical Team. You will be focused on laboratory analysis as well as product development and product validation.
This is a position for September 2021 - August 2022. This position will be 10-15 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours per week for the summer and must be able to commit to being onsite at our Kimberly, WI facility. Hours during the school year can be flexible around school schedule.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analysis of various lubricating samples
- Interpretation of analysis and report generation
- Mixing/Blending chemicals for testing
QUALIFICATIONS
- Current enrollment in a technical or life science program
- Must have ability and interest in compiling and analyzing data
- Great written and verbal skills, and the determination to find and articulate a root cause
- Comfortable in chemical laboratory setting and manufacturing facility
- Microsoft Excel experience, formatting, and creating equation functions and macros
