General Construction Engineer
R2C is searching for a full time General Construction Engineer to support the company, employees, business partners, and customers. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, commercial practices, and construction standards.
- Construction experience should encompass multi-disciplinary engineering topics to include HVAC, plumbing, Civil, interior and Exterior Systems in a hospital.
- Knowledge of planning and executing utility outages and cutovers in a hospital environment.
- Ability to determine compliance of workmanship, materials, equipment and installed work with contract requirements and industry standards.
- Working knowledge and understanding of building, safety, and environmental codes.
- Working knowledge of environmental, civil, safety, architectural and structural fields.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Familiarity with 3 phase inspections, CPM schedules and safety programs such as OSHA and EM-385-1.
- Ability to exercise good interpersonal skills.
- Should an offer submit and individual in their proposal but not be available to acceptable after award, the government must approve any replacements or substitutions.
Requirements
- Include a minimum of 3 VA references.
- Bachelors degree in any Engineering Discipline from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of experience in the construction industry.
