Crisis Intervention Specialist at Miami University

Calling all those interested in the greater-good! The Crisis Intervention Specialist is employed by Women Helping Women and works on campus at Miami University. They provide crisis intervention and support, advocacy, information, and referral to campus survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking. This includes phone, text, hospital, court, face-to-face and support group advocacy. This position also provides awareness presentations on campus and assists with campus prevention plan. Works consistently within the mission, vision, and values of the Agency. The Crisis Intervention Specialist (aka Advocate) will begin with virtual training and begin on campus by fall to welcome students. Flexible work hours! Benefits - vacation, medical, dental, vision!
