PARALEGAL POSITION
The Camden County Surrogate’s Court, located in Blackwood, New Jersey, is seeking a paralegal with a minimum of five (5) years working experience with preference given in the areas of probate, family, and/or guardianships. All applicants should have completed an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies. The paralegal will work closely with our in-house legal counsel in reviewing probate and guardianship pleadings which are filed in the Surrogate’s Court as Deputy Clerk of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division – Probate Part. The paralegal will also be responsible for analyzing and processing materials in relation to mandated guardianship monitoring. The paralegal will work in a supervisory role of the probate clerks in reviewing Surrogate’s Court probate applications. There is a huge potential for further growth in this position. Applicants must possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills, have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, can process often very complex fact patterns, be detailed oriented and organized.
