Digital Media Specialist

Digital Media Specialist – Atlanta, GA
 
This position is responsible for supporting the technical requirements of NTG’s internal and external communications channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SharePoint and website content management systems and the ability to learn technology NTG utilizes to create various forms of communications content. This person should be energetic, committed to teamwork, and excited to play a key role in the company’s digital transformation. The key responsibilities are but not limited to:
  • Serve as the technical content manager for the intranet website
  • Serve as the technical SharePoint engineer for the company, building, designing and updating SharePoint webpages and webparts, troubleshooting issues
  • Serve as the technical content manager for the company’s external website
  • Serve as the technical engineer of the company’s external website, updating webpages, building wireframes, integrating applications, troubleshooting issues, etc.
  • Serve as the editor and primary content poster of the company’s social media channels
  • Serve as the primary editor and content manager of company TV Display digital boards
  • Serve as the primary communications technical support for large company meetings which includes running presentations and preparing and managing audio/visual equipment at events.
  • Support general corporate communications functions as needed
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor or above degree required
  • Experience as a SharePoint designer required
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in information technology in a technical website support role
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, web CMS systems, social media app administration
  • Direct or indirect communications and marketing experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign preferred
