Preferred is in need of a Human Resources Intern for our Mount Laurel, New Jersey office. To be successful in this role the candidate must be overall computer-proficient, have good communication and problem-solving skills, take initiative, and possess the ability to professionally answer and transfer calls and take messages.
Duties of Position
1. Answers the phones
2. Performs clerical duties
3. Assists the human resources department with varies projects/deliverables
Responsibilities of Position
1. Types memos, correspondence, agendas and reports as required
2. Maintains electronic files for the branch
3. Assists the department with various tasks, including, but not limited to, scheduling interviews, running reports, and confirming applicants for classes, interviews, and orientation
4. Completes other various tasks assigned by the office manager
Job Conditions
1. Position may be stressful in terms of meeting deadlines
Qualifications
1. Must be a college student with at least 30 credits
2. One year of office experience preferred
3. Experience in health care preferred
4. Demonstrates organizational skills with the ability to multitask
5. Customer-service oriented
6. The ability to utilize a PC, multi-line telephone, and other office equipment
7. The ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing
