Land Development Manager - Community Development Department

The City of Peoria is looking for a Land Development Manager to manage the newly created City of Peoria Land Bank which is a Division of the Community Development Department. The position performs all duties related to the general real estate function of the City of Peoria including property research, drafting deeds, recording deeds, and filing property tax exemption documents. Manages the abandoned property program for the City of Peoria by conducting market research, assessing market conditions of neighborhoods, determine salvage opportunities and managing the rehab process for City owned properties. Manages the strategic acquisition and disposal process for the City of Peoria by creating a strategy, assessing qualified candidates, working with banking institutions through the foreclosures process and working with neighborhood groups. Manages and updates the vacant lot strategy for the City of Peoria in conjunction with staffing the City of Peoria Land Bank Board.
