MAJOR FUNCTION:
Provide professional nursing care through the nursing process. Meet the needs of the patient, family, and multidisciplinary team through communication, coordination, and evaluation. Comply with all policies and procedures; nursing standards of practice and
regulatory bodies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with current licensure in the
State of New Jersey. You must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program from an
accredited school of professional nursing and graduate on or before the second
employment anniversary date into a nursing position.
BSN or MSN graduates preferred.
Experience:
Medical Surgical nursing experience preferred One-year clinical experience in specialty
area required for per diem positions, two years preferred
Certification/Licensure:
Current licensure with New Jersey State Board of Nursing
American Heart Association BLS required
American Heart Association ACLS and Critical Care Course required within 6 months of
hire
Dysrhythmia course required within 3 months of hire
National Certification in area of specialty preferred
