Early Intervention Specialist-Development
This position provides technical assistance to classroom staff and families addressing children’s developmental needs. It promotes program quality through consultation and training.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Preferred: Baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Special Education or related degree. Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
Minimum: Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related degree.
Degree(s) must be from an accredited college recognized by the NC Department of Child Development and Early Education.
EXPERIENCE:
Five years of experience teaching children ages birth to six. Experience working in an early childhood setting with children with identified disabilities. Early Head Start/Head Start/NC Pre-K experience preferred.
