Student Admin & Clerical Assistant for the Dean's Student Support Team
Looking for Students to join the Dean's Student Support Team in the College of Business. This position is part of the team that provides various types of service to the College. Students assist with:
• Event setup and tear down
• Serve as receptionist for the College of Business
• Assist with building and facility support
• Complete special projects from the Dean's and other administrators
• Assist in recording security information
• Manage mail room and provide shipping and receiving support
• Assist with financial reports and distribution
• Several other varied duties as assigned
These positions provide opportunities to grow in a business and professional setting.
Dean's Student Support positions include a broad range of duties and could include some physical work.
Excellent attention to detail is a must.
All positions require good interpersonal and communication skills, and successful experience working as part of a team.
Successful candidates must be very organized.
Applicants must demonstrate a strong work ethic.
Preference will be given to students who desire future leadership roles.
Prefer Business major or minor, especially Accounting and Finance. Other disciplines will definitely be considered for qualified candidates.
Preference will be given to students who are available to work summer, over school breaks, work-study students, freshmen and sophomores.
These positions will start the end of Spring Semester 2021 or earlier if possible continuing into full or part time during summer.
Positions can continue into Fall.
Hours negotiable based on class schedule if enrolled. For Summer minimum of 20 hours per week, maximum of 40. Fall hours are minimum of 10 hours per week and can vary as schedule allows.
Hours of business are 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, M-F.
Pay Rate is $12.32 per hour.
