Geotechnical Engineer/Project Manager
Job Duties:
- Drilling projects: Setup, layout borings, clear utilities, log soils, and consult with senior to assign lab testing.
- Coordinate and execute special projects (including procurement of special equipment through purchase or rental and return of said equipment) as directed. These special projects may include, but not be limited to, those involving resistivity testing, inclinometer installation and monitoring, and infiltrometer testing.
- Integrate into Engineering team and serve as project manager for special projects (i.e., coordinate personnel on projects such as landslide, etc.).
- Act as engineering representative on remediation/installation.
- Complete all appropriate paperwork on a timely basis, particularly for project related tasks.
Candidate/Job Info
- Familiar with US Army Corps of Engineers Permitting
- B.S. in Civil Engineering required
- Successfully passed the FE exam preferred
