Accounting Intern (W/ potential for FT employment at end of program)

We are looking to add an Intern to our Accounting Team. Reporting to the Accounting Operations Manager, the individual will be responsible for various daily accounting duties as well as projects as assigned. This individual will be a strong team player as well as work well independently.    

·        Verify and post details of daily pay-in and pay-out batch activity.

·        Prepare daily cash calculation prior to batch approval.

·        Assist with bank reconciliation activities.

·        Assist with internal and external audit testing.

·        Collaborate with other departments as related to daily accounting functions, such as NOC and Data Services.

·        Assist with other month end close activities.

·        Bachelor’s degree (or pursuit of) in accounting, business, or related field.

·        Ability and willingness to work independently and collaboratively.

·        Strong attention to detail.

Functional knowledge of Microsoft Excel with a desire to learn more.
