Software Intern
Astor Automotive Services (AAS) is a Nationwide automotive inspection company. As an
AAS intern you will be working with our software developers on proprietary software solutions which have a direct impact on the quality and efficiency of vehicle inspections. This is an exciting opportunity to develop at the ground floor of a startup company, founded in 2020. Your solutions will have a direct impact on the future of thousands of vehicle inspections across the United States every year.
AAS is seeking a part-time software development intern to assist with developing a cross-platform mobile application in the automotive space. This position will primarily be focused on developing a robust testing architecture for an existing codebase, with active opportunities to move into a development role for this application, as well as on-going, parallel projects. An ideal candidate will have great attention to detail, experience with software testing methodology, and a willingness to explore and master new technologies. Front-end web development experience is strongly desired, particularly with React, while familiarity with Redux and the Jest testing framework would also be preferred but is flexible if the candidate can demonstrate an aptitude for adopting new technologies.
