Assist the staff in Human Resources by providing support to all three Human Resources functions: Education Services, Compensation & Benefits, and Talent Services. 
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist with recruitment activities, such as researching job board options, and placing recruiting ads.  
Update recruitment tracking spreadsheets.
Update recruitment budget spreadsheets.
Set up interviews for applicants.
Check references for applicants.
Send out notification letters to applicants not selected for positions.
Assist with company-wide internship program.
Support Agency Support & Marketing recruitment efforts.
Run HRIS system reports and analyze data for consistency.
Assist in coordination of wellness initiatives.
Oversee First Aid Room.
Update various benefit tracking spreadsheets.
Assist in the review of the 401(k) record keeper.
Help set up for events and training classes.
Perform general clerical functions for the HR department, such as, answering the phones, filing, shredding, data entry, and creating reports.
Create files and name plates for new employees.
Order and track new employee transcripts.
Assist in coordination of employee activities.
Assist with creation and layout of internal communication materials.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee information.
Ability to work a minimum of 20-25 hours per week.
Regular, predictable attendance as employee has to physically be in the office.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Physical demands: Normal vision (with or without correction); Reaching and grasping; Reading; Speaking; Lifting and carrying up to 15 lbs.
Mental demands: Analytic reasoning; Ability to work under time pressure; Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Environmental factors: Standard office lighting, temperature, and noise.
Equipment: Computer; Calculator; Copier; File cabinets; Shredder; Fax machine.

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED. 
Actively enrolled as a college student with a minimum of two years toward a Bachelor’s degree desired, in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
One-year experience working in an office or customer service setting preferred.
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Previous experience with projects or work involving high attention to detail preferred.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work with employees at all levels.
