Landscape/Irrigation Designer (PT)
Dixie Landscape has an opening for a Part Time Landscape and Irrigation Architect/ Designer for our Corporate Office based in Medley, Florida. Grow with us as we expand our individual and team strengths while creating satisfied, repeat customers.
As Landscape and Irrigation Architect/Designer, you will be responsible for:
· Preparation of irrigation, landscape, and lighting.
· Analyzing design options and evaluating alternatives.
· Cost estimating.
· Local permitting.
· Preparation of technical specifications and bid documents.
· Resolves design problems by providing technical assistance to design, estimating, and operations (project managers) departments.
· Estimate as project cost according to current cost standard (labor and material).
· Maintain quality service by following organization standards
· Contributes to team by accomplishing related results as needed
Minimum Requirements
- BLA, BSLA, or MLA degree preferred
- Familiarity with landscape architecture design software, such as AutoCAD, Land F/X, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and Sketch-Up
- Proficiency with MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Strong sense of urgency, project responsibility and initiative
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
