MASTER Level Clinician - Unlicensed/Licensed

Position location: Orefield, PA

The Clinician is primarily responsible for oversight and coordination of clinical services offered to assigned clients, including the provision of individual and family therapy. We provide an ideal environment for the treatment of children and adolescents in need of a safe, highly structured, dynamic and nurturing residential treatment experience, supported by annual specialized training for staff on evidence-based Trauma-Informed interventions for individual, family and group therapy.

At KidsPeace, we strive to use a holistic approach that looks to meld the principles of community interaction, evidence based interventions, trauma informed care, and client reintegration. Each member of our clinical leadership team is either currently Nationally Certified as a Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapist (TF -CBT), or in process of receiving this certification.

Our Director of ABA is a board-certified Behavioral Analyst and her department supports interventions in each program. Treatment includes evidence-based and individualized treatment interventions and program specific progress monitoring tools. Interventions include TF-CBT, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Behavior Therapy (BT), Parent Management Training (PMT), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and elements of Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Eco-Systemic Family Therapy.

KidsPeace has infused the intervention system UKERU, a restraint-free approach to crisis intervention which highlights a Culture of Safety. Each program utilizes trained aftercare specialists to ensure appropriate reintegration back into the community. In October of 2018 KidsPeace Residential was designated by an independent organization through Philadelphia called EPIC as an Evidenced-Based Program for our use of TF-CBT.


REQUIREMENTS:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services or related field required.
Licensed eligible required - would need to have completed a 60 credit master program.
Experience working children / adolescents in a mental and/or behavioral health setting preferred; particularly experience with major psychiatric diagnoses.
Prior experience providing individual, group, and family therapy preferred

By joining the KidsPeace clinical team you will have the opportunity to earn the highest level of your PA License (LPC OR LCSW) in as little as 2 years with free licensure supervision. In addition once licensed KidsPeace offers the opportunity for free CE workshops to maintain the training requirements needed for licensure.
