Authors Guild 2021 Summer Internship Opportunity

The Authors Guild is looking for an intern who is interested in learning about publishing, communications, web content creation, social strategy, and nonprofit member relations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with writing and proofing marketing copy, newsletters, and other outgoing communication
Assist with content creation and maintenance on digital platforms, including social media accounts and authorsguild.org via WordPress
Assist with researching new books by members for the Guild’s quarterly Bulletin publication
Participate in regular meetings about marketing and communications strategy
Produce regular reporting on digital analytics
Provide other administrative assistance
Work on additional projects as assigned by Chief Operating Officer
Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interest in engagement with members and the literary community, proficiency with learning new digital platforms, and commitment to the Authors Guild mission.
This is a paid internship.
