What you’ll be able to do:
We’re seeking a highly skilled technical professional to provide key expertise to our outstanding automated manufacturing capabilities. You will utilize and leverage Vis Plant monitoring software to review cycle times of automation, as well as review and follow up on automation projects and installations. You will:
- Use Fis Plant monitoring software to review cycle times of automation, review and follow-up automation project's and installations
- Troubleshoot PLC, robot, and other automation problems
- Update program backups for automation
- Program new installations of tooling and conveyor systems
- Reprogram automation for engineering changes and improvements
- Coordinate automation campaigns
- Independently troubleshoot all body equipment and continuously evaluate equipment for improvement for quality and delivery
- The minimum requirements we seek:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- or
- High school diploma and 2 or more years of technician experience (Electrical or Mechanical)
- 2 or more years of PLC logic experience
- 1 or more years of network experience
- Our preferred requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Strong problem-solving skills, including 8Ds, FMEAs, and DMAICs
- 1 or more years of experience with RS Logics, Microsoft office
- Prior experience with Indramat Servo
- Familiarity with bar code scanning
- Familiarity with function block logic
- Exposure to welding technics
- Familiarity with Schneider and Siemens PLCs and RS Logics
- Experience with Fanuc or Kawasaki
- Strong understanding of conveyors system programming and tooling techniques, in addition to networking understanding, DH+, Ethernet, remote IO
- Blueprint reading, AutoCAD, interpret and modify electrical schematics experience
- Simulation modeling exposure
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience
- Visual Factory Management
