The RCAH Center for Poetry at MSU seeks up to four student interns for the 2021-22 academic year. We are looking for undergraduate students (sophomore-senior) with excellent organizational skills and an interest in poetry, writing, and/or literature. Experience in graphic and/or web design, photography/video, and social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, are desirable but not required.
This is an unpaid internship offering rich experience and mentoring in areas such as public relations/communication, event planning, contest administration, and community engagement, and may be optionally taken for academic credit. Interns can expect to work 4-6 hours per week. Regular hours are scheduled around each intern's availability and fall on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. with occasional evening hours required to staff visiting writer events.
