- As an Associate Business Analyst CoOp, you will be responsible for providing assistance and support to the Business analyst team to capture, document, consolidate, and communicate requirements from stakeholders to the User Experience Team and Engineering team. The BA CoOp must easily interface with Sr. Business Analysts, UX Designers, and business stakeholders to conduct interviews and sessions for the analysis and documentation of business needs. Those needs will then be translated into actionable, detailed execution requirements by the UX/UI and engineering teams. The BA will also be involved in testing and reviews of features & functions to verify they have met the user requirement.
- In this role, you will work with Senior Business Analysts, Product Management, User Experience Design, business stakeholders, Software Development, Software Quality Assurance, Deployment, and Localization teams to ensure the timely development of requirements and associated artifacts the subsequent validation against initial requirements.
- Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Work with the Business Analysis team, Product Management, and UX to facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Learn and follow established process, business rules, and policies
- Follow standard templates and best practices for the development of requirements.
- Assist with requirements gathering using interviews, document analysis, workshops, discussions, use cases, and other methods
- Consolidate and evaluate information and high-level requirements to distill into lower-level detailed requirements
- Collaborate with Product Managers and UX Designers, internal and external stakeholders to analyze business and user needs and to scope and define new features and enhancements to the system
- Prepare specifications for changes and new features (use cases, user stories, functional requirements specifications, UI designs, mockups, workflows, etc.)
- Manage requirement documentation, updates, and change control
- Provide support for the development and test teams during testing cycles
- Provide support for client UAT, including bug analysis and requirements deviation
- QUALIFICATIONS
- ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Senior (or 5th-year student) Undergraduate, or Graduate program in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, User Experience, or related field
- Self-starter and motivated to expand skill set and experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good organizational skills
- Interest in new and emerging technologies
