DVM student support for retrospective equine studies

This is a position for a student interested in equine veterinary research. There is 1 opening at a pay rate of $13/hour and anticipated hourly work of 2-20 hours/week for the remainder of the 2021 Spring semester.

Start date is ASAP or February 25, 2021. Colorado State University may conduct background checks on all final candidates.

Job duties include: data collection from electronic medical records and follow-up interviews of clients, editing and resubmission of a Young Investigator Grant, client communication for enrollment of horses in a clinical study of horses undergoing colic surgery, laboratory analyses of colonic content for volatile fatty acid content, and assistance with manuscript preparation for publication as coauthor.
