Summer Camp Videographer
About this Job
As a brand NEW summer camp, Camp Somerset for Girls presents a unique job opportunity for creative and spirited individuals who want to be part of building a summer camp culture and community from the ground up. We seek independent thinkers who are self-starters looking for more than just a summer job but an actual seat at the table.
We believe that summer camp should be the most special time of year for children and it is our responsibility to make sure that every young girl feels empowered, encouraged, and inspired to be her very best self.
Our full-time videographer is responsible for capturing life at camp and all the amazing activities each day. The footage is then edited to create two 30-minute "highlights" videos to show the campers during the summer and one end of year video to share in the fall. Additional short videos are needed for social media as well.
All Somerset staff must be at least 19 years old or have completed one year of college or post-high school graduate work. A friendly disposition, good attitude, and desire to work with children and help them grow their skills and self-confidence are a must!
About Camp Somerset for Girls
One of the finest summer camps in America is back and we’re excited to invite you along on this unprecedented journey.
It’s been nearly a century since Camp Somerset for Girls welcomed its first campers to East Pond in Smithfield, Maine, and three decades since it sadly closed.
Camp Somerset for Girls reopened in 2018, combining extraordinary history and tradition with a new team of experienced directors and staff, on a campus rebuilt from the ground up.
