Video Content Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY
The Video Content Assistant supports the business development and marketing goals of the company by assisting in the creation of digital media to promote C&E Advanced Technologies’ events, marketing communications and branding initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Video Production
  • Use C&E video and audio equipment to capture raw footage for product features, branding and other promotional campaigns, company announcements and events.
  • Use Adobe CC products to edit and finalize videos for use in digital marketing efforts.
  • Preform necessary color adjustments to clips to meet video style requirements.
  • Create and discover effective and exciting effects, motion graphics and soundtracks to enhance branded videos.
  • Review assembled films or footage to determine if corrections are necessary.
  • Appropriately render videos for use on various distribution channels: social media, video sharing platforms, broadcast, etc.
  • Help with live streaming events and productions.
  • Participate in preproduction and postproduction meetings and strategy development.
Asset Development
  • Create and compile images/graphics for use in videos and various digital marketing campaigns.
  • Adjust and render images and other assets provided by third parties.
  • Maintain shared environment for project and asset storage.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Experience recording with DSL or mirrorless cameras.
  • Experience with audio recording and lighting equipment.
  • Familiarity with drone piloting, drone video and drone photography is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.



EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE


This position requires 1-2 years of video production experience or equivalent educational studies.
The qualified candidate must be enrolled in a 2-yr or 4-yr collegiate program, with a major in design, videography, marketing or other related course of study.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus, especially due to concentration on a computer screen and small numbers. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Standard office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
