Channel Sales Operations Intern Job Description

Summary:
 
Fortinet is a fast-growing and dynamic cybersecurity company, and we are looking for a Channel Sales Operations Intern to virtually be a part of the early talent program starting in June 2021. You'll be working with the Channel Sales Operations team and be exposed to nearly every aspect of distribution and channel sales, and gain a keen understanding of what a career in sales operations looks like in real life during the internship. Besides working on impactful projects, you will participate in a lunch and learn session with our executives, networking activities, and a project showcase.

  • You are a leader and excellent teammate with experience in a collaborative team environment

Responsibility:
  • Assist with the exchange of reseller data with our distribution partners  
  •  Help with managing reseller accounts in SalesForce.com and the Partner   
      Relationship Management system
  • Help maintain the database of partner metadata

Qualifications:
  • Currently a Junior or Senior enrolled in a four-year degree program in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field with expected graduation date winter 2021 or spring 2022
  • A passion for cybersecurity and an aptitude for learning solving a complex problem
  • The ideal candidate will be innovative, team-oriented, an effective communicator, have a desire to participate in change, and the ability to prioritize projects in a fast pace environment
  • Must able to demonstrate strong knowledge with MS Suite, communication, speaking, and writing skills
