Position Specific Description
This intern position is responsible for creative graphic design and development of responsive email templates supporting NextEra Energy’s external-facing digital experience communications. As part of our Digital Communication Team, you will support our strategy by working in a team environment to help deliver seamless user experiences across various devices including desktop, mobile and app. With this team, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with passionate leadership and the ability to make an impact enterprise-wide.
You will work on end-to-end development of email campaigns, ensuring consistency with brand elements and delivering flexible email creative framework to enable dynamic content. Development includes design conception using new or templated assets to complete html build out and email testing. Duties will include QA testing of emails and pulling data from completed campaigns. Skills should include HTML and CSS development for email (this is not the same as web),
You will need to demonstrate:
- Proven knowledge in HTML coding across multiple browsers and platforms
- Knowledge of CSS a plus.
- Proficient to expert in: Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver
- Ability to finish projects in a timely manner
- Strong desire and ability to develop engaging online digital content and experiences
- Collaborate with team members on cross-functional initiatives and coordinate the integration of creative and technical elements into a final content presentation
- Update email content as needed
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and act tactically
This role will gain additional experience with several marketing tools such as, Adobe Campaign, Adobe Analytics, Litmus, Ignite inMotion, Microsoft Teams, Webex
Job Overview
To be considered for an internship, you must be actively enrolled at a college or university as a full-time student seeking a bachelor’s degree or higher. You must also have a current cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher (on a 0.00 to 4.00 scale).
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Assists department with assigned projects
- Completes challenging projects and assignments
- Presents final project to senior leadership at the end of the internship
- Assumes responsibility for own travel, lodging, and transportation necessary to be available for the program
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High school grad / GED
- Maintain active enrollment in a Bachelor or higher degree program
- Maintain cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
