Creative Design Internship ( UHS & CMHC - Public Information Team)
The Division of Student Affairs Internship Program
The Division of Student Affairs Internship Program allows students to spend a summer handling a special project for the university designed to prepare them for life after graduation. Interns will work 19 hours per week for 10-weeks. These part-time internship positions offer a competitive compensation package that includes an hourly wage. Due to COVID-19, we are currently planning for each of our internships to take place virtually. Housing assistance may be provided on a case by case basis after internship positions are offered. Undergraduate students are eligible to apply. The internship runs from May 31, 2021 to August 6, 2021. The application is due February 14, 2021.

The Office
University Health Services & Counseling and Mental Health Center provide care to students at The University of Texas at Austin. The Project
The intern will work on project-based activities from concept creation to final product for real-world needs and use. They will use Adobe Creative Cloud as the software to support their projects.

Things You’ll Do
- Assist the art director with print, web, and social media projects at varying design and production stages; assist clients with projects from concept to final product; layout and edit copy into models/templates
- Create and edit illustrations; take and edit photos; deliver meticulous work on time and error-free
- Use and maintain online project management tool for all projects
- Participate in all required Division of Student Affairs Internship Program cohort activities and assessments
Who You Are (Qualifications)
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
- Require personal subscription and computer hardware to fulfill responsibilities
- Moderate to advanced skills in Adobe CC software with emphasis on InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
