Deloitte Global – Strategy & Innovation Summer Internship

Work you’ll do:
Throughout the course of the internship, you will work on-site and/or virtually, have regular events such as weekly lunch and learn sessions and other social activities, and receive training customized by our business units. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into solving complex business issues from shaping and strategy to execution, and exposure to Deloitte leaders around the globe in an organization of over 300,000 employees with over $46 billion in revenue. You will understand first-hand what a career at Deloitte looks like and have the opportunity to build a cross-functional professional network. 

You will be expected to adapt to change, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, creativity, self-confidence, resourcefulness, leadership qualities, and potential. You must be team-oriented and able to work collaboratively. 

Role Specific Responsibilities

  • Research solutions, frameworks, and methodologies to address specific project needs
  • Conduct external and internal research using primary and secondary sources to develop fact bases
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis such as external market sizing, competitive positioning, emerging trends, and business intelligence modeling
  • Develop an understanding of the professional services industry
  • Communicate your ideas clearly and logically through written and oral communication
  • Build effective working relationships with internal clients and colleagues
  • Support and execute large, complicated projects with multiple stakeholders 
  • Help coordinate strategy and/or innovation discussions with senior Leaders

Qualification:
Required
  • Rising Junior or Senior currently enrolled and pursuing an undergraduate degree
  • Strong academic credentials with rigorous analytical and quantitative focus
  • Extracurricular accomplishments successfully balanced with strong academics
  • Proven ability to think critically, analyze effectively, and communicate confidently
  • Diplomacy, maturity, empathy, and intellectual curiosity are all attributes for success

Preferred:
  • Interest in strategy development, competitive strategy, disruptive technologies, and/or innovation trends
  • Experience building Excel models and developing PowerPoint presentations
