Program Coordinator Internship (Center for Students in Recovery)

The Division of Student Affairs Internship Program 
 
The Division of Student Affairs Internship Program allows students to spend a summer handling a special project for the university designed to prepare them for life after graduation. Interns will work 19 hours per week for 10-weeks. These part-time internship positions offer a competitive compensation package that includes an hourly wage. Due to COVID-19, we are currently planning for each of our internships to take place virtually. Housing assistance may be provided on a case by case basis after internship positions are offered. Undergraduate students are eligible to apply. The internship runs from May 31, 2021 to August 6, 2021. The application is due February 14, 2021.

The Office

The Center for Students in Recovery provides a supportive community where students in recovery and in hope of recovery can achieve academic success while enjoying a genuine college experience free from alcohol and other drugs.

The Project

The intern will assist the center staff with reviewing and optimizing the Recovery Ally Training program, including developing new training materials and plans for effective campus outreach. 
The intern will articulate the relationship between the program goals and evaluation data  
The student will work on collecting, organizing, and compiling reports from data available in Qualtrics. As an intern, the student will assess qualitative and quantitative data included in program evaluations and issue recommendations on ways to improve the program or program materials. This intern will assist in the creation and revision of program materials. In this position the intern will also assist in writing reports or articles related to the program outcomes.

Things You’ll Do

  • Assist the center staff with reviewing and optimizing the Recovery Ally Training program

  • Participate in all required Division of Student Affairs Internship Program cohort activities and assessments 

Who You Are (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience with Qualtrics
  • Experience analyzing survey data
  • Experience developing training materials
