Administrative Internship (Student Conduct & Academic Integrity Office)

The Division of Student Affairs Internship Program

The Division of Student Affairs Internship Program allows students to spend a summer handling a special project for the university designed to prepare them for life after graduation. Interns will work 19 hours per week for 10-weeks. These part-time internship positions offer a competitive compensation package that includes an hourly wage. Due to COVID-19, we are currently planning for each of our internships to take place virtually. Housing assistance may be provided on a case by case basis after internship positions are offered. Undergraduate students are eligible to apply. The internship runs from May 31, 2021 to August 6, 2021. The application is due February 14, 2021.

The Office

Responsible for the investigation and adjudication of student, and student organization, conduct cases with a focus on students' ethical development.

The Project

Intern will work with Student Conduct Case Manager to run reports on outstanding cases and sanctions. They will interpret, evaluate, and summarize "Closed Case" survey data. Intern will develop educational training material for student Peer Ambassadors (PA), Student Conduct Advisory Committee (SCAC), and Student Conduct Board Members. The intern will have the opportunity to work with other portfolios within Student Conduct and Academic Integrity to complete identified administrative projects as well.

Things You’ll Do

  • Generate reports on outstanding cases and sanctions.
  • Interpret, evaluate, and summarize "Closed Case" survey data.
  • Develop educational training material for student Peer Ambassadors (PA), Student Conduct Advisory Committee (SCAC), and Student Conduct Board Members.
  • The intern will have the opportunity to work with other portfolios within Student Conduct and Academic Integrity to complete identified administrative projects
  • Participate in all required Division of Student Affairs Internship Program cohort activities and assessments
