The Office

SHIFT is a new initiative at UT Austin that aims to shift the culture of substance use on campus from one of default use, to one that cultivates well-being. There are six pilots that engage students, faculty, and staff in a different conversation around substance use, challenging the current norms.

The Project

This internship will assist SHIFT staff in moving our pilot initiatives forward. Projects may include helping the SHIFT team roll out a technology platform to help inform student conversation around substance use; develop and create communications to further SHIFT’s message via messaging campaigns and/or social media platforms; or assisting in peer-peer workshop development. The student will draw from various data to create informed messaging and bring their unique voice to inform student-centered communications and projects.
