HBCU Pathways Intern

This temporary internship position is located in the Office of Programs and Partnerships, National Endowment for the Arts. Based in Washington, D.C., the position is eligible for telework during the COVID-19 pandemic. Once the agency staff returns to the office, the position will report to the DC office headquarters.  

The incumbent reports to the Arts Education Director and is responsible for duties pertaining to the Historically Black Colleges and Universities Initiative. In this capacity, you will:

-Work closely with supervisor and the HBCU Initiative team to conduct project research and analysis; prepare reports and background and briefing materials; provide editorial assistance for documents.

-Collaborate closely with HBCU Initiative team to create detailed plans for events, including meetings, presentations, and webinars.

-Provide support in the coordination and facilitation of all activities in association with these events, including event logistics.

-Schedule meetings to advance the work of the HBCU Initiative team.
