Administrative / Office Assistant
Growing financial services firm located in Northbrook is seeking a strategic administrative team member to start as soon as possible.
Duties include:
- Preparing applications for new investment accounts and insurance policies, including updating addresses and beneficiaries.
- Inputting financial information for client projections.
- Creating investment reports with various parameters.
- Monitoring work flow and prioritizing work assignments.
- Maintaining compliance files.
- Maintain registration on various sites.
- Implementing estate plan and trust updates.
- Invoice tracking on financial plans
- Handling death claim forms and insurance/annuity change forms
Qualifications and requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least one- two years full-time or internship work experience.
- Never declared bankruptcy – credit check and fingerprinting a must.
- Strategic thinker that can suggest process efficiencies.
- Experience with Word, Excel, and savvy with online software tools.
- Ability to work with other support personnel.
- Ability to support a team of three financial advisors.
