Statistician (Data Scientist)
If you have a degree in Statistics and a concentration or further degree in data science, and you are interested in working from wherever you currently reside with a Federal agency that supports rural communities, then please consider these two opportunities. If selected, you will be involved in a wide assortment of big data projects, including dashboard construction, optimization modeling, economic and business forecasting, to name but a few. You will be joining a very dynamic Data Analytics Division within the US Department of Agriculture's Rural Development agency. Rural Development loans and grants finance homes, businesses, libraries, schools, roads, hospitals, utilities and more, and the Innovation Center is applying analytical techniques and best practices to improve program delivery.
