Business and Administrative Services Manager

Job Description:

The Business and Administrative Services Manager is responsible for the day to day business operations and administrative department operations for Health and Counseling Services (HCS).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management or other business related field from an accredited institution
• Minimum three (3) years+ in business office support role and/or in office management role
• Experience in financial management, oversight, and monitoring budgets and contracts, as well as administrative support and personnel management
• Ability to analyze information and develop effective solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate complex information and processes to multiple and diverse internal and external customers
• Excellent computer skills, including experience with databases, software programs, email management, and calendar management, including proficiency with MS Office applications specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills for professional interactions with people of diverse backgrounds
• Ability to maintain professional composure in multi-faceted, fast-paced work environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities with frequent interruptions
• Demonstrated ability to operate with a high level of confidentiality and discretion
• Strong planning, critical thinking, problem solving, and task and time management skills
• Excellent grammar, spelling, punctuation, composition, and proofreading skills

Desired Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field
Work experience in higher education
Work experience in a student health environment
Experience with vendor and contract management
Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
