Intern, IT Infrastructure
We have an exciting opportunity available for a remote, Summer 2021 Intern in the IT Department!
Your tasks and responsibilities include:
- Keeping up-to-date Infrastructure inventory, assist with Asset Management, manage vendor information, and perform administrative duties as advised.
- Develop scripts to manage, deploy and integrate systems; assist with creating automated processes.
- Help with hardware and software installations of existing infrastructure; test the deployment of the systems to confirm it installs appropriately
- Create documentation within Service Now Knowledge Base
- Assist with project work such as hardware builds, refreshes and upgrades

- Completion of at least sophomore year at a college/university program in a related field, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, MIS, or Software Development, or be enrolled in a similar master’s degree program
- A 3.0 GPA or above
- Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident, change, problem)
- Familiarity of continuous process improvement methods, e.g. root cause analysis, corrective action, etc.
- Knowledge of OS Fundamentals: Operating Systems, Processes, Threads, Memory Management, I/O, & File Systems
- Understanding of virtualization delivery platforms
- Understanding of end user self-help processes
