FWS Research Assistant - Github/code Coordinator for the Graph Brain Project

Description:
The Graph Brain Project is an experiment in how the use of automated mathematical discovery software, databases, large collaboration, and systematic investigation provide a model for how mathematical research might proceed in the future.

Duties:
The student research assistant is primarily responsible for (1) updating the Graph Brain Project (GBP) codebase from Python 2 to Python 3, (2) adding additional graph functions and properties to the code base, (3) maintaining all code on Github, (4) testing all GBP functions for computational stability, and (5) updating the SQL database of pre-computed function values.

Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal student researcher would be (1) an experienced Python programmer, (2) have experience with Github, and (3) know some graph theory.

Remote Options:
This is a remote/virtual position 

Hours: A reasonable weekly schedule will be determined between the supervisor and mentor, not to exceed 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday during normal working hours.
