Outdoor Educator/Junior Outdoor Educator | Camp Scene Environmental Adventures

If you love the outdoors and have experience working with children, apply to one of our part-time educator positions in the city of Decatur! Pay is $14-$16 per hour. Our after-school camp for grades K-5 is focused on exploring nature, environmental education and adventure outdoors. Our schedule is based on the City Schools of Decatur calendar.

Flexible part-time hours start between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. and end between 5:30-6:30 p.m. based on your available days Monday through Friday. We spend our time having fun in nature on daily field trip hikes, in a hands-on curriculum on site, or participating in a variety of interest clubs led by our educators — whether it's environmental science, nature art, yoga, music, gardening, geocaching, indoor rock climbing or more.

Applicants must undergo background checks and get certified in CPR and First Aid. The primary responsibility of all staff is camper safety and supervision. We are a fully vaccinated staff and require proof of vaccination with employment. Our program is currently located across the street from the Avondale MARTA station in east Decatur near Agnes Scott College.
