Video Specialist
The Video Specialist is trusted with spearheading multimedia projects and video production of high-quality content highlighting student, faculty, staff, alumni and partners of the college for Davidson's Innovation & Entrepreneurship Initiative. This student will work closely with the Initiative's New Media Specialist and must be a creative, independent, videography guru with a passion for innovation and entrepreneurship in the liberal arts. An ideal candidate will be driven by the mission of the Initiative to advance important and in-demand skills and experiences for students, alumni and faculty who wish to apply the liberal arts by thinking critically, engaging creatively with technology, working iteratively, taking smart risks, and prototyping tangible solutions to real-world issues.

- Demonstrated experience and success/portfolio showcasing experience with videography, digital media and new media strategy

Responsibilities:
- Spearheading pre-production, production and post-production of all video content for I&E Initiative
- Creative thinker, independent worker, and deadline-driven/highly reliable
- Suggesting technology or content ideas to help I&E Initiative achieve desired outcomes from video projects
- Strategizing ways to incorporate videos into social/other digital media efforts
- Coordinating multiple projects with frequently adjusted priorities
- Attending a weekly check-in meeting with I&E Staff (Fellow and/or Director)
- Attending entrepreneurship events, programs, and workshops as needed
- Promoting the I&E Initiative in new and creative ways
