Information Technology Intern

Our Telecommunications engineering team helps the DoD implement spectrum (Radio Frequency) management on both national and international stages. We also have a cleared engineering team that helps the Department of Homeland Security protect our national security interests.

Overview:

As an IT Intern for eSimplicity you will support and manage internal tasks related to Corporate IT initiatives and operations. This role’s support activities will be geared towards current needs as well as the individual’s skill set and interests.



Job Duties (including but not limited to):


  • Basic end user support and troubleshooting
  • Software configuration and deployment for onboarding new team members
  • Perform market and technical research to identify emerging technologies and gather information about upcoming initiatives in different technical areas
  • Support documentation tasks including reviewing technical documents for accuracy and efficacy, cleanup of system documentation and repositories, updating and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with guidance from technical staff, conducting information gathering sessions with technical Point of Contacts (POCs) in support of proposal development


Qualifications:


  • Looking for a current sophomore or junior college student pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Self starter with ability to work effectively independent
  • Ability to quickly comprehend processes and learn systems and tools
  • Able to simultaneously handle multiple projects
  • Extremely detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
  • Comfortable with conducting independent research
  • Cross collaborative and good communication skills to be able to communicate across teams and deliver quality projects on time
