Opportunity Statement
Raymond James Investment Banking Department is seeking qualified candidates for its three-year Investment Banking Analyst Program. Candidates for this position should possess excellent analytical skills and demonstrate outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement. Strong communication skills are important as analysts work closely with clients and investment bankers in various capacities.
Investment Banking Analysts at Raymond James play an integral role in the department's activities and are given a high level of responsibility as a member of a specific industry or product-focused team. Responsibilities include formulating new business proposals, developing company forecasts and valuations, evaluating merger and acquisition scenarios and preparing documents related to the public and private issuance of stock. Analysts are expected to work on every aspect of the transaction process, including participation in drafting sessions, new business proposals and due diligence meetings. All new analysts participate in a training program in June that focuses on finance, accounting and other job specific topics, as well as provides networking opportunities with senior management across the firm.

Qualifications / Applying
Candidates with a 3.5 GPA or higher are preferred. Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program and on track to graduate in December 2020 or Spring 2021.
