Industrial Engineer - Data Driven
Industrial Engineer or Process Improvement Engineer position open in Crossville, TN, for an Industrial Engineer with a data-driven process improvement background in manufacturing or warehousing.
In this role, you will be responsible for optimization of state-of-the-art facilities with a company that is in growth mode and has an awesome culture! Must be on-site.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering or another engineering degree.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills- comfortable and effective communicating with everyone from the stock room to the board room.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts and techniques, including Kaizen and 5s
- Experience extracting and analyzing data in relational databases, SQL, SSRS, Crystal Reports
- Process modelling and optimization experience
- Demonstrated passion for problem solving and process improvement
- Experience in time studies, analytical modeling, software simulations, risk assessments
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, Solidworks, Catia, Microstation, Revit)
- Experience with discrete process modelling and simulation tools, such as Pro-model, Arena, Automod, Flexsim, PlantSimulation, Python+Simpy
- Experience with data analysis languages/tools including R, Python/Pandas, MATLAB, and Lindo
- Experience optimizing logistics systems, such as warehouses and transportation networks
