
Farm Worker, laying hens
Primary responsibilities are care and feeding of laying hens. The two main daily shifts are: Opening - doors to mobile coops are opened within an hour of sunrise, feeding and watering hens, collecting eggs, observing health of hens, approx. time 7:00AM-1:00PM. Closing - check feed and water inside/outside, collect eggs, observe healthy of hens, anything unusual on farm, approx time 3:30PM-9:00PM. Open and close times change with seasons .Requires commitment to animal welfare, willingness to work outside in varying weather conditions, ability to work independently, reliably.
