Job Purpose
The writing intern will be responsible for writing both assigned and creative articles for a combination of sports, sports betting, esports & other iGaming related websites. You will gain real-life experience writing for meaningful projects with guidance from a mentor and other members of our team. You will also have some opportunities to begin building “your resume” of published writing work on established websites.
Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to)
- Work closely with the content manager to help them understand your skills & desired niches to write in. (We have potential writing assignment across sports, esports, and other iGaming areas for you to take if you’d like)
- Communicate promptly and effectively on all task assignments delivered via Asana.
- Write articles that are assigned, following specs, directions and meeting deadlines.
- Make revisions or changes to articles you have written (in a timely manner) if instructed to do so by the editor.
- Coordinate with the content manager to write about topics of your choice.
Attend or participate in all writer training sessions, survey opportunities & digest training presentations or courses. (We have 15 years of experience writing for some of the top sports and iGaming brands around. There are many tricks of the trade you will learn from our training sessions & content.)
