Human Resources Summer Intern
As a member of our HR team you will be on the frontlines supporting a Hartford Courant Top Workplace and a growing organization!
The Human Resources Associate will support the human resources function. Our ideal candidate would be a recent graduate interested in growing their career in human resources. There is potential for this position to be filled by a rising senior as an internship.
The Temporary Human Resources Associate will be responsible for assisting in general task such as:
- Coordination of recruitment activities including interview scheduling
- Assisting in sourcing candidates for open roles
- Employee leave management support
- Maintaining HRIS analytics
- Assisting with execution of summer internship program
- Manage employee recognition program
- Point of contact for employee requests
- Support of HR initiatives and projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or Business – completed or currently enrolled
- Prior internship experience in human resources or business preferred
- Attention to detail with heavy focus on quality of deliverables
- Ability to work on multiple projects
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have exceptional oral, written and interactive communication skills
- Knowledge of key human resources practices such as: Onboarding, recruitment and total rewards
- Experience working with a CRM and applicant tracking system would be awesome
