The APP Company's 2020 Summer Marketing and Promotions Internships

The APP Company is known as one of the top app companies in the world with clients including top college athletics and alumni programs, recognizable beauty brands, restaurants and hospitality businesses, and more! We are expanding our national team to generate business for our recently launched SaaS platform (called “TAC Platform”) that brings cost-effective app development and management to businesses. (Think.. like what Wix.com did for website development and management)
 
The APP Company is looking for sales, marketing and promotions Interns with incredible drive, interest or currently studying sales and marketing, and proven track record of success in life to join The APP Company’s 2020 Summer Sales, Marketing and Promotions Internship program.

This position involves marketing, servicing current customers and acquiring new customers for the TAC Platform. If you live in Southern California you will have the opportunity to meet with the founders and at times work directly with them, but this is primarily a remote position with regular online video conferencing meetings with the executive team of the company.
 
The APP Company is committed to providing remote working opportunities especially during the current global health crisis. This will be the primary method of working at The APP Company for at least the next few months.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Identify verticals to target, genre interstate’s and acquire clients for TAC Platform

  • Identify and target channels for each vertical - Online: Websites, Communities, Trade Groups, Facebook, Google, Offline: Trade Shows/Expos, Publications, Physical Media Marketing

  • Creating and managing advertising opportunities - Facebook/Google Ads, Ad Networks, Website Features, Paid Placements, etc.

  • Create content on our website for SEO purposes

  • Communicate and manage leads with an effective strategy for conversion

  • Build an affiliate network - Work with those who have existing relationships with businesses in our verticals such as supply stores/reps for restaurants and IT companies for businesses in our verticals. Form lucrative compensation for them to be incentivized to bring their clients onto The APP Company Platform

  • Build partnerships with complementary businesses - Work with development agencies, web development companies, etc. to provide them with a benefit and lucrative arrangement to use our platform for their clients

  • Create videos and marketing materials for website and outreach

  • Promote TAC Platform in related groups/discussion groups/forums - Reddit, Facebook Groups, Stack Overflow, and Other Similar Channels

  • Grow and manage social media accounts for The APP Company
 
Let’s be perfectly clear, this internship also includes as its core a large portion of time reaching out by calling, email, posting and other means to potential customers to communicate TAC Platform’s benefits in hopes of acquiring them as new clients.
 
Note: Selling is a fantastic way to gain business experience, those averse to it are likely to be less successful as business people, than those who embrace it. Selling is of utmost importance.
