Electrical Engineering intern

Responsibilities and learning objectives:
The intern’s project will involve assisting in developing an embedded computing solution for the hardware control system including real time performance of motor controls, fast 2D image processing, system safety features and network communication.

Intern will be given on-the-job training on how to convert from an analog to digital interface on a power supply including hardware and software changes.

Intern will learn how to test hardware subsystems.

Intern will help in developing robotic systems and tracking systems.


Must-haves:
Confidence and can-do attitude
Understanding of embedded designs
Familiar with basic C/C++ coding and firmware development
Ability to work with suppliers
must be in excellent academic standing, 3.5 GPA minimum


Supervision:
The intern will work closely with the Mechanical Team and report directly to the COO. 

Internship time frame:
About 3 months.
