Environmental Scientist

TriEco, LLC is seeking a Staff Environmental Scientist to support our Environmental Consultant Contract Agreement with the Louisville Metro Housing Authority (LMHA) . The qualified candidate will be based in our Louisville, KY office and report directly to TriEco’s Program and Operations Managers.

The Staff Environmental Scientist shall support project and senior-level professionals in planning and executing environmental consulting work under the LMHA Environmental Consulting Contract and HUD Environmental Compliance programs.

Scope:

· Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
· Asbestos Containing Material Inspections
· Lead Hazard Risk Assessments
· Indoor Air Quality Surveys
· Radon Gas Surveys
· Industrial Hygiene Risk Assessments
· Job Hazard Analysis
· Abatement / Remediation Technical Specification Development
· On-Site Project Oversight
· Analyzing and Interpreting Environmental and Laboratory Data
· Preparation of Technical Reports
· 50%-75% Field Work

Education, Skills and Experience:

· Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Geosciences, Public Health, Industrial

Hygiene, or related field.

· HAZWHOPER 40 Certification
· Excellent technical writing, editing and communications skills.
· Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
· Valid Driver's License
· Ability to pass a Department of Defense Military Installation Site Access back ground

check and drug screen.
