Human Resource Specialist

Summary: This position will serve in the DLA Pathways to Career Excellence (PaCE) Program performing a series of progressively more responsible functions, along with formal and on-the-job training (OJT). As Human Resources Specialist, GS-0201-07, the selected applicant(s) will serve as an entry-level trainee enrolled in the DLA Pathways to Career Excellence Program (PaCE) Program.
Responsibilities
  • As a Human Resources Specialist, your duties will include, under the guidance of a higher grade specialist, but are not limited to:
  • Providing a range of human resources services in one or more of the following functional specialties; classification, recruitment/ placement, employee relations, labor relations, employee benefits, HR processing/quality control to customers.
  • Applying human resources management methods, principles, and practices of assigned specializations and standardized analytical and evaluative methods and applies rules, regulations, or procedures to independently complete HR assignments.
  • Working in conformance with established practices and prescribed procedures and using a number of guidelines directly applicable to the assignment.
