Intern - Finance and Treasury

SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

JOB TITLE: Intern- Finance & Treasury

DEPARTMENT: Finance- Kansas City Headquarters
LOCATION: Kansas City, MO
PAY RANGE: $15.00- $18.00

Scheduled Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Other hours as required)

Intern Description:
Intern position will work in the Finance and Treasury department. Role will include support of the company treasury functions and corporate finance functions. Opportunity will include handling daily processing and reporting of cash positions, supporting corporate debt issuances, project work, as well as research department specific topics.
 
Job tasks include but not limited to:
-      Support daily treasury activity, including management reporting
-      Engage with the Corporate Finance team to support debt issuance
-      Research trending treasury / finance topics of interest
 
Education and Experience Requirements:
Candidate should be enrolled and studying Finance or Accounting and posses an interest in pursuing a Finance or Treasury career. Desire an interest in Corporate Finance / Treasury career as well as previous experience in similar field. 
 
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required:
·        Must be dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented and have excellent organizational and proofreading skills. 
·        Must possess the ability to work and communicate effectively with other company personnel.
·        Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and databases preferred. 
·        Must be able to handle multiple priorities and operate efficiently and effectively in high stress environment.
·        Position will require individual to research concepts and theories and summarize findings in a concise and professional manner.
