Sourcing Internship (Business Or Supply Chain Majors) - May 2020
Intern with our Corporate Sourcing Team in Tinley Park, Illinois.
Global Supply Chain is responsible for the end to end value chain for specific product lines. We source, procure, and manage the supply base to assure continuity of all goods and services by aligning supply and demand requirements around the world. The Purchasing department develops and executes global sourcing strategies across multiple commodities supporting ROI and product development initiatives.
Projects Would Include But Not Limited To:
- Competitive Bidding
- Supplier Delivery
- Business Continuity and Supplier Risk
Preferred Major(s): Business, Supply Chain or Related Major
Required Qualifications:
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills
- Strong multitasking, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with public speaking and presenting to peers
- Experience with technical writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and other office tools
- Possess the ability to work efficiently both individually and as a member of a team
